Prior to founding Legitimate, Calvin worked at several early stage startups as a product engineer. He started Legitimate as a way to combine his background in tech with his passion for streetwear, fashion, and culture. Calvin grew up skateboarding and playing basketball but, in true late-Millennial fashion, he recently picked up long-distance running as a hobby he won’t shut up about.
Daniel has an extensive background working in consumer tech as a software engineer. He knows a lot about building websites and apps with great user experiences that delight consumers. He enjoys traveling, surfing, and discovering the best bars and restaurants everywhere he visits. Daniel can also make a great bowl of beef noodle soup and discuss at length the many styles of Japanese ramen.
Zoe has a background in production and operations at early-stage startups. As born-and-raised New Yorker, she believes anything under 30 minutes is a "short" walk away and can often be found dragging the Legitimate team on "short" walks around Tokyo. In her free time, you’ll find Zoe checking out the newest wine bar, hunting for vinyl for her collection or hiking in the Japanese countryside.
Sarah’s background is in consumer lifestyle marketing, she brings a wealth of sneaker, fashion and culture experience to our team. On weekends, she can typically be found riding motorcycles, seeking out new restaurants, and trawling TikTok.
Adept at working with her cross-team partners to solve product problems, Kelley believes that perfect is the enemy of good. When not designing, she’s spending her time on the yoga mat, mixing music, and hitting the tennis court.
With a career starting in project management, sales and marketing, Nori has extensive experience in localizing global brands. He has collaborated with artists on countless diverse projects – including those in the web3/NFT field – typically centering on art and technology.
Korede has worked in various early to mid-stage startups, with a proclivity for crypto-enabled products. Outside of work, he spends his time trying out shiny new things in tech and playing video games.
